Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays

Anyone else think it’s a little too chilly outside for a Texas December?!

Hope everyone enjoys the winter break!

Happy Halloween! Well, almost.

Hope everyone’s enjoying the cool fall weather!

Time for another update…

Hope the “Swine” Flu hasn’t gotten everyone sick!

Here are our latest Seniors…

Swamped!!

…but that’s not a bad thing!

We’ve been super busy with our 20th Anniversary Senior and Family Session Specials!!

Here’s a quick update from a few of the latest senior sessions I’ve done.

Hope the school year is off to a good start for everyone! [Kids AND parents ;) ]

Update!!

We’ve been so busy lately with Seniors and different team photos, I haven’t had time to update the blog! So here’s a few pictures from the latest Senior sessions, enjoy!

Nikki from SGP

When I finsihed photographing Nikki, I asked her what she had thought her sessions were going to be like. She was expecting it to be “horrible” she said, and I laughed. It wasn’t until we were half way through the session that her mom told me Nikki hates having her picture made, and she was very suprised that I got Nikki to smile without even asking for it. How bout that! Good luck with veterinary school :]

Ashley from Bowie

I had a lot of fun with Ashley. She came with her boyfriend Zach, who I photographed last month. She’s been playing softball since her freshman year, and I was suprised when she told me she’d be trying out for the wrestling team this year! I have no doubt that when she sets her mind to doing something, it will be done. I wish her the best of luck in both softball and wrestling this year :]

Jared from Lamar

For someone who doesn’t like to talk, Jared was very interesting. Luckily, his mom came with him :] I found out he’s only a few hours away from getting his pilot’s license, which will come in handy because he wants to be an AirForce Pilot. Also, Jared got to spend a week at NASA this summer. What really made him stand out was the fact that not only does Jared know what he wants to do, but he’s taking steps towards his career before graduating… [Doug stepping up on soap box] SO many of the seniors I photograph think they have an idea of what they want to do, but they don’t prepare for it before college, such as getting a part time job or internship in their field of interest. Where as Jared is taking steps towards his chosen career, a career that is hard to get into. He’s stacking the cards in his favor, hats off to Jared!

Amy from SGP

Amy is yet another SGP Band student to be photographed by me this summer.  She told me she used to play all sorts of sports, but once she got to high school she realized it would have to be sports or band.  She’s not quite sure what her major is going to be, but she would love to work with animals in some capacity.

Kyle from SGP

Kyle went to church camp this summer in Las Vegas!…New Mexico.  He plans on persuing a career in Petroleum Engineering, because it is currently the fastest growing engineering field.
